Vanessa Hudgens gets the star treatment from at least a dozen paparazzi when she stops at a Mobil gas station in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The High School Musical starlet gave her autograph to one photographer… with a mechanical pencil! Another photographer was even kind enough to help Vanessa pump the gas into her Audi convertible. How sweet of him!

Sources tell E! News exclusively that the High School Musical star is close to finishing her second solo album and should have it ready in time for a summer release.
"She is wrapping up in the recording studio right now," a source close to the 19-year-old multitasker said Tuesday, adding that Hudgens has been logging marathon hours at a Hollywood studio on an almost daily basis.
A follow-up to 2006's V, Hudgens' solo debut, the new effort is "definitely more grown-up than her first CD," the source said.
After she finishes up at the microphone, the Disney Channel star will be heading off to Austin, Texas, to start filming the teen comedy Will.
Production on High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the first in the franchise intended for the big screen, is scheduled to kick off in April with the whole cast, including Hudgens' real-life beau Zac Efron, set to return.
And it appears as if Hudgens will be able to jump-start her feature-film career with a clean slate.
Earlier Tuesday, it was learned that the singer-actress had settled a lawsuit brought against her by her former lawyer, who claimed she stiffed him on up to $150,000 in royalties from various songwriting and recording deals he helped procure.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Hudgens' camp had argued she was only 16 when she hired the attorney, and therefore any contracts signed were null and void. She said she had fired him after his services fell "below professional standards."

Vanessa Hudgens to star in the new Walden Media Film 'Will'.
"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens has signed on to star in "Will," Walden Media's coming-of-age dramedy being directed by Todd Graff. Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas is producing.
Written by Graff and Josh Cagan, the script centers on a high school outcast and a popular girl who form an unlikely bond through their shared love of music. They assemble a like-minded crew of misfits and form a rock group to perform in a battle of the bands competition at their school.
Hudgens is playing Sam, a 15-year-old former stutterer now speaking slowly and deliberately, who becomes romantically entangled with the lead outcast.
The movie is set to shoot February in Austin.
Graff is an actor-turned-director who made his helming debut with 2003's "Camp."
Hudgens is best known for playing Gabriella Montez in "Musical" movies, the third of which is scheduled to shoot later this year. Her feature credits include "Thunderbirds" and "Thirteen."

2. She will finish recording main vocals of all the tracks by the end of next week or the week after. Just in time for her to begin production on her new movie 'Will'.
3. There will be a healthy 20 tracks to choose from. 12 for the album & another 3 or 4 will be released as bonus tracks.
