I just finished watching the episodes released so far and I love the show. There are a lot of great shots of the city, I love how the show is shot, and the title of the show and how the episodes are titled are dope.
Richie and Patrick are two of my favorite characters and they actually remind a lot of myself and a friend of mine.
I think Dom is a slight bit overrated by y'all (yes, I read through the thread). He is very handsome, but I don't feel like there is all that much to him... He wants to open a restaurant and he had a bad relationship previously that made him lose quite a bit of money. Patrick is more interesting imo b/c there is so much we don't know about him... his previous relationship, why he is so standoffish when it comes to anal sex (it's gotta be deeper than that), etc.
My biggest complaints would have to be the length of the show (way too short) and, reflecting on what we've seen so far, I feel like not much has happened. I'm sure that something really dramatic (watch it be HIV/AIDs related...) will happen and it'll be drawn out for the rest of the season.
They didn't hook me with one episode, but I think the five episodes together gives me faith.

I can see why some people may think it's boring, but the show is portraying men (not teens) who don't have their lives completely figured out yet. Finding a job, keeping a job, finding a person you can connect to, awkwardly hitting on guys, etc. are its main focuses. Boring everyday things. Not to mention how intimate and vulnerable it can get, especially in the last episode which made me feel like I was on a date WITH them That's exactly what makes it so interesting - you can relate.
There is no need for antics or surreal situations to keep me entertained. I understand some people want more comedy than drama, but I think both are fairly represented on the show.
