I love the snippet, it sounds like the song will be pretty trippy and amazing. But based on what we've heard so far, it seems like we've dodged a massive bullet, as this does not sound anywhere near single material, let alone hit single material.

I love the snippet so much, but no, "Venus" is nowhere near BR. It's much, much stranger and potentially off-putting.
"Venus" would have been the next "Judas", and it likely would have permanently damaged the ARTPOP era, much like "Judas" did to the BTW era.
OMG, that snippet made me cringe a little, ENOUGH that I recant my fears concerning DWUW being swapped in just because it was successful. It clearly sounds like the better single choice of the two to me. Better song in general, for that matter. I appreciate her trying new things, but that will take a while to grow on me, if it ever does.
