I just don't see why anyone is at all surprised that a 20 year old would respond in this way. Miley is still growing and i'm sure this is just one of the many mistakes this girl will make in her career.

We're trying to judge the morals of a pop star who isn't even fully grown yet. I'm sure she will regret her comments and apologize for them in her future tell-all book she plans on releasing when her career is on it's way out (hopefully not).

I believe her comments were extremely calculated... but that's another story.

I think we're babying Miley here. She is 20 years old. That's not that young anymore. She's been able to vote for 2 years. That's a big responsibility in itself. Why can't she be responsible enough not to act like this? I'm not saying she's not able to make mistakes at that age, but it's not like she's 12.
