Three year old stupidity presents
Orangenial Music
Anna Abreu - End Of Love
Source: ATRL's Ferpunk
- I do not think this is an amazing song but oh my gosh, I love the music! Her voice seems to flow with it too. It is something you could do some weird dance to... something similar tango? Either way, thanks for the recommendation! I definitely enjoy it!
South - Paint The Silence (live)
Source: Woxy.com
- I like how this song starts off so slow and sort of gets more of a tempo later. It still remains pretty mellow but adds strings too! The live performance was pretty good too. Definitely worth checking out, if you have not heard it on the O.C. already!
Six songs that I feel like mentioning (in addition to the previous songs):
There is something about these songs... darn them.Bettie Serveert - Versace
Album: Attagirl | Year: 2005
- I had submitted this to the Song Contest and I just wanted to recommend it to those who may read this instead. I simply fell in love with Bettie Serveert when I heard Attagirl randomly on Pandora and then realize my Facebook/iTunes sampler had it too! This is just one of the great songs from the album. It even has strings!
Billy Talent - Surrender
Album: Billy Talent II | Year: 2005
- I know Ferpunk recommended this also but I already knew this song!

The whole albums is pretty good but I do like that this was a recommendation. The vocals are a bit odd on this song but I do like the music.
Colbie Caillat - Bubbly
Album: Coco | Year: 2007
- I am not quite sure why I resisted liking this song so much. I mean it was everywhere but maybe that was it, I did not want to give in to something that everyone was falling in love with? Well, that died a month or so ago when I did not even realize I was swaying to this song randomly. I know sometimes I could really agree with this song. Still, I apparently needed VH1's Top 40 Videos of 2007 as a reminder to put this on one of my blogs before the year was over!
Foo Fighters - Hey, Johnny Park!
Album: The Colour And The Shape | Year: 1997
- Another song contest submission but not mine! This was submitted by someone else and ended up being the winning song for the round! Great taste ATRL!

The starting of this song reminds me of a much more overplayed mainstream song that came later but otherwise, another great song by the Foo Fighters! Since it was on the Song Contest, I felt like mentioning it.
Mclusky - To Hell With Good Intentions
Album: Mclusky Do Dallas | Year: 2002
- I have always known this was not an outstanding song but somehow it always felt good to listen to it. I remember walking home from school and always feel nice just because of how silly some of the lyrics were. The music helped me feel pretty upbeat too!
Tupac f/ Dr. Dre - California Love
Album: All Eyez on Me | Year: 1996
- I cannot remember if I heard this when it came out or a few years later, but I know ever since I have heard it... I have always seemed to enjoy it. It just makes you want to move, even if the movement may be subtle. Either way, another result of a VH1 list, this time VH1's Top 100 Songs of the 90's. Despite me not fully agreeing with the list, I like how it reminded me of some of my favorites.
It sucks when you realize things you cannot fully control and just have to wait it out. If you cannot tell, I hate waiting, but again, cannot do anything about that. Other than that, it has been a pretty good week and may you guys have a great week/end! Happy Holidays!
