Ariana has definitely been the dark horse this year she came out of nowhere with some great 90's style music. A lot rides on the debut and even Carly couldn't hold the same sales when her Call Me Maybe did so well. I think perhaps she will gain realistic sales for a new artist even on the back of The Way. I need to listen more to her music to assess its staying power. It's a refreshing sound once again with other records losing that sweet romanticism and soul that Ariana gives off. The male singers have been dominating the charts lately, especially the albums, if I look at the U.K. The big girls are coming this year so things might be about to change in there, if they hit our chart hard.
I went to the show in NY tonight and it was perfect
All the new songs she performed from the album sounds amazing and the new version of Honeymoon Avenue
