She kinda ruined the song for me. Now I will always think of the video when I hear it. However, I loved the orange hair scenes. Nice concept, bad execution, horrible editing, bad video, bad taste left in my mouth, but I guess you can't win em all.
Va Va Voom is my favorite Nicki pop song, and she ruined it with this HORRENDOUS music video. Wow, I'm so disappointed.
I was beyond excited to see it too. ****in' Hype Williams ruins everything.
sis make up your mind, and Nicki didn't ruin anything Hype williams edited the video and did the final touches had Nicki done it i'm sure we would've had the video 10 months ago
YALL NEED TO STOP SAYING "HER" AND "SHE" LAST TIME I CHECKED HYPE EDITED THE VIDEO NOT NICKI THAT'S WHY SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT TO RELEASE IT
She should've demanded he re-edit it then. I don't know much about editing though, and how tedious that process might be so it's probably easier said than done, but I don't see why she cleared the video back then after seeing this finished product. It's heart-breaking because the concept and the visuals were golden.
Well, this song is one of the only good ones from the album and the video had a cool concept, could've looked very good actually but Hype seriously ****ed it up.
Why do people even go to him anymore?
His videos aren't what they were.
If she did this with Anthony Mandler, it would've looked WAY better.
This has to be one of the worst videos I have ever seen in my life. Almost all of her videos kinda suck this era, I love Nicki Minaj but I am
disappointed in her videos, why can't she make videos with quality? Ugh.
This is my first time hearing the song, and I liked it (might have to cop that single off i-tunes).
That said . . . I'm saying no to this video. Nicki's wigs are often hit or miss, and that just may have to do with the color. The wig/s in the IAYL video were much more flattering than most of the wigs in this video, and some of the outfits screamed Fame era Gaga. I understand that a lot of Nicki's schtick is about promoting fantasy, but lately it's been too much of a Euro-centric fantasy, and to me it's coming across as forced rather than natural, and I don't know, maybe that's the point. There are ways of modernizing fairy tales, but this just came across as weak to me.
Y'all are complaining about the special effects. What about how NONE of these scenes transitioned well into each other and the damn fairy tale concept seemed extremely forced, jumpy, and cheap.
