I usually like her material, but I don't really feel this after 2 listens. At this point, I find the repetition annoying and the lyrics and the hook seem very weak. The production is nice, but alone it isn't enough. I for sure hope this isn't the best she has to offer on her sophomore album...
I've only ever hear Lights from this girl, and it's by far my favourite song right now. Its perfect. So listening to this, I didn't know what to expect. But I love it! It's not very radio friendly though, but then again, neither was Lights and look at it now, #1 on Pop radio.
Most of you probably don't like this because the last song you heard of hers was Lights. If you hear the rest of the album its much more indie influenced. I guess that is where she's going with this era
