True, and I'm not discrediting Britney, but a legend is someone that stands the test of time in my opinion. Prince, Michael, Madonna are legends....to call Britney a legend so soon is the reason why she's so lazy now....make her work for that title.
Honestly, the Beyonce's, Britney's and Eminem's are icons of the 2000s.....but I wouldn't dare to call them legendary until they're on the edge of glory...or at least in their 40s and still putting out great music.
