He's never had a Hot 100 #1, incredibly. Neither has Taylor Swift. Odd given their raging fanbases. Though in Taylor's case she's had really back luck on the charts.

I know, it's just that most people on ATRL don't care about the male artists. And IDK if I am feeling a number one with this song. If he would have released "Marry You" I would be saying it differently though. But he is definitely going to be getting similar airplay with the song, because its not a bad song at all.

I was obsessed with them as well. When I became aware of Billboard, it's hard to believe that Britney also has few #1s in the US when all you could hear on the radio before was her. I can't believe I can still remember the lyrics of her songs up to this day

"I Want It That Way" was #1 on the Hot 100 Airplay for weeks but her label didn't release a physical CD single. It could have been easily #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 too

I was actually being facetious about Justin Bieber, although yeah oddly he and Taylor have not gotten any Hot 100 #1's. Bieber doesn't really get much airplay. I think only Baby made it in the Top 15 of Pop radio. Taylor's Country support gives her an edge on airplay but her digital sales aren't really that high up except during the initial weeks.

Guess they wanted to take a break from cheesy love songs. TLS is kind of anthemic in a way so it has some appeal, but I dunno if Rhythmic is going to support it the way they did JTWYA and Grenade.

The song's doing... less than I expected. It's the type of song that is garaunteed to not sell well digitally but I think it should be doing a bit better. Like Top 200, the bottom of it. She is J. Hud, who's in the media very frequently, & now in a positive light more than ever.

It still has yet to crack Top 20 on Urban or Top 10 on Urban AC.

Once it does that, I'm sure it will be Top 200.

Plus it hasnt been added by NY or LA Urban stations yet.
