Beyonce's solo success was partially made possible by the foundation that was laid with Deatiny's Child. And even though she went to greater heights as a solo artist, she still had a foundation that helped her achieve solo success with Dangerously in Love. Whitney or Mariah didn't have that. They started out as solo artists, whereas Beyoncé started as a member of a group. The fact that you even have to include her work with Destiny's Child just to give her a fighting chance against Mariah and Whitney proves she has not surpassed them. Notice people don't include MJ's Jackson 5 work when discussing his solo career. That's because they don't have to. And you Beyoncé fans don't have to add her work with Destiny's Child with her solo success just to make her look better than she is. Her solo success and impact is good enough, just not better than Mariah or Whitney's.

Destiny's Child sales do count towards Beyoncé's total. It's ridiculous to argue that they don't.

Bey has never had a studio album that failed to scan platinum. And last time I checked Bey was billboards female artist of the last decade. Some people had a song and some people just flat out dominated the entire decade. It is what is is love.

both of them started out at different eras. In 1990 the compact disk was just overtaking vinyl while the physical vinyl and physical single was slowly dying.

in the current decade: the consept of selling products has become unpopular and renting music via streaming became the new thing.

what i don't get is that some artists of today are doing better than others and they take it as proof of some sort of historic reformation in music.. that's something we didn't have during any other time in music because the original legends spawned new legends who loved the originals.

but today it's like maroon 5 followers shade the beatles bc they cannot get a h10 entry...

8 studio albums... bc christmas albums are studio albums and TPW OST is an album entirely sang by her. + the bodyguard is either a WH album (RIAA) or a Various Artist Album (Soundscan) but then you have to decide which position you're on.
