I think Lady Gaga will be fine. It's the artists without solid fanbases that I'm worried about, like Jason Derulo, Miley Cyrus, Taio Cruz, Flo Rida, Akon, Ne-Yo, etc.
I think that Ke$ha will be fine as long as this electro-pop phase stays "in"... and Lady Gaga, with her amazing fanbase, will stick around for a long time. I think it's unrealistic for anyone to think that she will ever duplicate the success of The Fame/The Fame Monster, but she's definitely good for 1-3 hits per record, and she's going to stay in the spotlight with her constant touring/musical output.
I don't think Bieber or Taylor Swift are going to last very long.
Neither one of them are anything special or unique.
Wow. I hate on Taylor way too much on here. I really should just stop.
Her stans have to hate my guts by now.
Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Jay Sean, and possibly Mike Posner will go. Ke$ha and Bruno Mars will stay, and Taio Cruz might stay. He's become a big player when it comes to longevity.
Taylor will eventually lose mainstream appeal as her teenage fans grow older, but she'll always be revered and supported by the country music community.
Miley Cyrus (she's already fading)
David Archuleta (ummm, he faded already I guess)
Jay Sean
Jason Derulo
Jordin Sparks
Lee DeWyze
Christina Aguilera
Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber will stay.
Obviously, Lady Gaga and Rihanna will stay, their fanbases are extremely supportive.
thats the thing though.. i dont think Katy Perry and ESPECIALLY K$ will last long, cuz of their so called fan bases if they even have one, they are just top casual buyers hence the term "singles" artist, if they dont have a hot track out, theyre basically forgotten.. remember Thinking of You ( although i like that song) she like faded away and even though WUIV topped mainstream, it still didnt feel like a "smash" probably because TOY flopped hard

That seems to strike the right note!
Thinking of you I remember it features Kyle XY
