Yikes at some of the delusional Beyhive in here using the sales from the first two weeks when DrIL wasn't available for individual purchase acting as though the
only reason those 600+K people, then subsequently 300+K people bought the album was for DrIL. The single hadn't even taken off at that point to even make that assumption
Beyoncé is a big star. People were gonna buy the album regardless. Doesn't mean you can start adding album sales to single sales to prove whatever point you're trying to prove. By that logic, XO was a massive hit too because we can take whatever sales it had and add those first two or three weeks of album sales to it since people "couldn't buy the individual songs on iTunes."
Applause is currently a
bigger hit than Drunk In Love. Drunk In Love has/will have
more impact than Applause. It could also end up being the bigger hit than Applause
eventually, but right now, that is not the case...
