Disgusting. Definitely not watching this disrespectful mess.
Gaga is a celebrity, not an artist. She just wants to promote herself.

why would they care about you not watching it

I'm sure CBS is devastated to know they've lost a person who was probably going to illegally livestream it from Brazil.

Honestly, I don't like Bowie's music for the most part, but I better give his discography another listen before this.

Like, everybody is entitled to have an opinion on this.

Gaga fans are so desperate and xenophobic.
The Grammys are aired live on TV in my country, but nice try.

I don't think AB is trying to 'coming' for Brazilian people, I think he/she meant it in a way that CBS won't really care if someone outside North America didn't watch because they weren't gonna a higher view count either ways. (= profit).
Sorry for being off-topic. Can't wait, it seems th Haus has been planning this for a while.

Was it really necessary to use the R word? There's people with autism on this forum for crying out loud. And how ironic that you are calling her pretentious when this is what is on your profile:
Quote:
VU, Pixies, Massive Attack, Portishead, Madonna, M.I.A., Gorillaz, Outkast, The Clash, Bowie, Nirvana, The White Stripes, The Libertines, The Verve, Oasis, Dandy Warhols, Jeff Buckley, Pulp, Blur, Hole, MSP, MGMT, NIN, Sigur Rós, Enigma, E.S. You come off as someone that hates 95% of artists that debuted in the 21st Century. Or 95% of mainstream artists. Something like that. At least SOMEONE is tributing to Bowie. Your atttitude is very pretentious.

It's not a random citation, it's one of his most discussed songs.
You Gaga fans know NOTHING about Bowie. Go educate yourselves before trying to discuss him.

Refer to my above post. I'm not xenophobic, it's just CBS wouldn't care if you don't watch since it wouldn't make them lose any possible profit. Nice try at calling me desperate and xenophobic though.

I wonder if she's gonna sing Life on Mars! I love that song especially after it was on FreakShow.

That's not really fair. Some are going a little far with it being disgusting and what not (your comment in particular was pretty ). It's also a little rich to hear people who are notorious Gaga haters who now have Bowie avis coming in saying Gaga is somehow unfit to tribute the most prominent inspiration in her work. If nothing else it has to be admitted that if they want a performance that showcases high quality live vocals/musicianship and imagery then the Lady Gaga/Intel thing is almost too perfect.

As a big fan of Bowie, I honestly can't say I'm bothered by this. Bowie has been a major influence in Gaga's artistry since her debut and even most recently with 'Applause'.
As long as she does a great job (and I'm sure she will) then I don't see why other Bowie fans has a problem with this. Its about celebrating and honoring his legacy at the end of the day.
