10. Waka Waka - Shakira
The official World Cup song, the song that brought us all together during the months of the famous football WorldCup. "Waka Waka" is the style of songs we all know and love from Shakira, the tribal-Latin style. The lyrics are easy yet not shallow, so its get stuck in your head. Her vocal performance is well done, too. I can't think of any other international artist that could have possibly sang the song better than Shakira. When I'll remember Waka Waka, the World Cup & 2010 will come in my head. That's why it's special.
9. Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
I love Teenage Dream. This is definitely will be a song I'll remember forever. First of all, the beat is hypnotic, it's very addictive. The lyrics are joyful, everytime I hear it I feel love and joy inside me ascending.
8. Wonderman - Tinie Tempah feat. Ellie Goulding
My favorite song of Tinie Tempah so far. The first time I've heard it, I was drown in it, I couldn't stop playing it. The production of the song is great, the beat is fantastic. The chorus is very addictive, with Ellie's robotic voice perfectly fitting it. The lyrics of how Tinie rose to fame are nice -- Well, after all, he is the Wonderman. Can't wait to see the video and I can't wait to see the song smash on the charts.
7. Only Girl (In the World) - Rihanna
Rihanna's lead single from Loud. I was super excited when I've first heard about it, I couldn't wait for it to be released. The return of Rihanna to Pop / Dance music that made her mega-famous. Although I personalliy don't really like Stargate, but they did an outstanding job n the production of the song. The beat is loud, and the song is very - Europop / Dance style that has been popular in the recent years, but with Rihanna's loud and strong vocals -- She did it like no other. The song became an instant worldwide hit. Yes, the lyrics are stupid, but it's not one of the songs I can relate to nor the lyrics will mean anything to me - Who cares? It's addictive, fun, dancey song and it's one of my most remarkable Rihanna songs ever.
6. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance
Yes, this song was released in late 2009, but I wasn't here last year so I couldn't make Year-End chart. I had to mention it on the list and honor it since I love it. When I first heard the song - I fell in love. The production, the chorus, and the video - Everything was perfect. Epic. I've heard the song so many times and seen the video so many times, I simply could not forget about it. It accompanied me through 2010. Best Lady GaGa song ever, she probably will never top it.
The Top 5 will be revealed soon!

5. Stereo Love - Edward Maya & Vika Jagulina
This song haunted me through the year. Everywhere I went, I've heard it. Radio, buses, Ringtones, MTV, Facebook, from people's telephones, etc... I didn't like it until recently. Even though I haven't listened it until late 2010 -- The song was with me throughout the year nevertheless. So when I finally fell in love it - It wasn't the first time I've heard it. The melody of "Stereo Love" is magical and the lyrics drown beneath the hypnotic beat. I love Romanian music, it's really good. "Stereo Love" is an "ear-gasm", and one of the most memorable songs of 2010 that I'll probably reminisce for long time.
4. Fire Bomb - Rihanna
This is the same-case as "Bad Romance". Even though it was released in late 2009, this is my only chance to mention it in my charts, ever. The song is one of my absolute favorites of Rihanna and I'm damn mad that stupid Def Jam didn't release it as a single. It's an amazing ballad with emotional lyrics about a lover whom she'll take with a blast and they'll burn happily ever after. But I also believe that the song is written about her fans, that she's unstoppable now and doing everything to give the best for her fans, and can't wait until they ("we") clash together and rule the world. "burning" (Aka she's hot right now). The song melody is accompanied with guitar riffs over Rihanna's soulful vocals. One of my ultimate songs of all time. I'll never forgive you, Def Jam.
3. Airplanes – B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams
I really love "Airplanes". It's one of the most standout tracks of the years - B.o.B's second worldwide smash hit, his collaboration with Hayley Williams of Paramore which I admire. The song really brings the best of them, and this is like LTWYL little brother (Although it was released before, LTWYL beat is more advanced and emotional and it was more successful). I love the lyrics, they are inspirational and meaningful, like a window of what's happening in today's world.
2. California Gurls - Katy Perry
The summer smash of 2010! The "return" of Katy Perry to the scene! (She never lost). Honestly, I never liked Katy that much, I thought she was gonna stay a 2-hit-wonder forever, oh boy I was wrong! She took the world by a storm once again and became way more relevant than she used to be. CG is the second most successful song of the year and it's my second most played song of the year. It's such a summer, fun, easy, dancey, lovely song I kept jamming all summer. I reviewed California Gurls back in the summer. Click here.
Yepp, Love the Way You Lie is my song of the year! Predictable? Well maybe, but it deserves it. When I first heard that Eminem is collaborating with Rihanna I was like, "What? For real?" I was skeptic about it at first since he never collaborated with a major Pop star before, but when it was officially announced I couldn't believe it. I always loved Eminem, and not everyday a legend rapper like Eminem collaborates with a huge mega-successful worldwide Pop star like Rihanna, so the song was bound to be a hit before it was even released. The song is outstanding for many reasons, first, the great Rap/Sung production by Alex Da Kid. Second, the lyrics with the profound emotional impact from Eminem's and Rihanna's personal lives, whom both encountered unhealthy relationships which led to domestic abuse. Rihanna sings from a domestically abused woman point of view, while Eminem speaks from the abuser point of view. Eminem is a lyrical genius and the song is about domestic abuse most people thought that Rihanna was just a stupid girl who loved the way her boyfriend lied to her. That's what happens when we live in a superficial world. The video explains the plot of the song perfectly, the video is amazing, starring the beautiful Rihanna and Megan Fox. It was such a pleasure seeing both of my favorites Eminem and Rihanna topping the world together with such an amazing song which is "Love the Way You Lie". I wish I could see them at the top once again, but this year was definitely the year of LTWYL and there's not one place I went that didn't know the song or overplayed it. Rihanna's vocals in the chorus are very emotional and seek for help, and the songs chorus will be one of the most memorable ever.
