Because Nicki is an established artist who started out with a strong Urban backing and Azealia isn't. Like

Nicki didn't ONLY have success with her pop songs though It seems as if some of the ATRL members have a memory that doesn't go back further than a few months She has hit hits on Hot 100 as well (Moment 4 Life & Fly for example) and huge hits on the rap chart (Did It On 'Em was #3 for example), not to mention all her rap verses that help songs become a success. She never sings on her verses, yet they still help the song become a hit. It's because people are here for rap Nicki and pop Nicki and she's just doing both at the moment because she can. The only people here for Azealia are her twitter followers let´s be real.

Regardless of who is mad, that tour would have been so incredibly ****ed. Their music style clash and Azealia opening would have everyone raving out then Nicki would come on and it would be so messy.
