The EU will be perfectly happy to have a trade deal with the UK. We're one of their biggest trading partners. You think they're going to let themselves go into recession just because we left their political union?

I don't care what the EU has done to your working class. Can you even show me HOW the EU has exactly damaged your working class? And I'm talking numbers and solid arguments. The question here is: has the membership to the EU benefitted UK as a whole? Yes, it has. And yes it will because the benefits of the EU cannot be understated.
You really want to hurt your working class?
Get out of the single market and go to being the one country that will have to pay custom duties on goods from outside the UK and watch the prices of all your goods in your grocery stores rise.
And watch what happens to your working glass when transnational companies that don't want to deal with extra costs, up and move and thousands lose their jobs.
The EU won't go into a recession... The EU isn't even a country, first off, and secondly: going into a deal with UK could be seen as motivating others to pull the same ****; you really think France and Germany are going to allow that? Have you NOT been following French and Germany press? THEY won't allow UK the benefits of the EU when the UK won't be contributing ****, when everyone else will continue to pay billions in membership fees.
