How Deep Is Your Love sounds okay when I hear it on the radio. I never like it when I play it at home though.
A song about rape is "cheesy"? Some people really try too hard. They'd be the same ones who rave about some generic, twee romance ballad.
"Till It Happens To You" is about rape? Well, that's no excuse for the song to be boring with cheesy lyrics. I guess I like my songs about rape to be a little more fun and peppy, like "Blurred Lines." I think it just comes down to preference.
