I don’t really get what’s so bad about this tbh but that’s probably because I LOVE basic/generic dance pop songs. Another thing I like about this song, and dance/pop Jessie in general, is that the production and the studio effects cover up those vocal abortions that she keeps trying. Unfortunately, a couple of her piercing howls still manage to break through the autotune barrier. Normally I love when artists shine through in their work but with Jessie, I want to see/hear as little of her as possible which is why this and Domino remain her best work yet.
