Girl bye, it had a radio adds date so it was chosen already as the lead single, it was supposed to come out on October 14th, even Billboard writer confirmed the date, it was on PlayIGA, AllAccess, FMQB and all that ****, but they probably decided to change the date/delay it, or they even cancelled it. As of now, we know nothing, but at least we know it is/was supposed to be the lead single.

A friend of mine heard "Baby Don't Lie" (which was officially finished last week according to him) and said it's definitely being released sometime soon, but isn't sure if it'll just be a buzz track or if it actually has a place as the first single. Either way, he said he can't imagine it not being released, and that it's really catchy.

To be fair, despite WYWF being a smash at heart, it didn't really take off like they expected and had to go about things a different way. She has a history of this.

You mean in the US? Since WYWF was a huge hit in Europe and Australia. Even if WYWF peaked low in the US, it still managed to sell over 500,000 copies.

Yeah this. WYWF is iconic in Europe, and I don't use that word lightly. It's synonymous with Gwen, and pop music in general. I still hear it a lot in the UK, on the radio and on ads and TV shows.
