A genre is just a genre. It won't make a difference on a worldwide scale as long as the song is great and people are buying it. Taylor is country and she's slaying worldwide.

Well here's my two cents:
Rihanna may have eclipsed Beyonce with Top 10 hits but I personally consider Beyonce's hits to be more memorable and noteworthy. There's also the fact that a large amount of Rihanna's Top 10's were features and not really songs where she was the lead artist. Simply an observation. I'm glad for Rihanna and all but, in my opinion, no one can top Beyonce. Plus, assuming that she will promote her new lead single at the Super Bowl, I'm sure Beyonce will tie Rihanna anyways in the near future.
Impressive. It's true she releases a lot of material, but she manages to make it chart.
Still, I don't think Beyonce is too worried. She got asked to headline the Superbowl even after all those flop singles.
True, but a performance at the Superbowl doesn't always guarantee success afterwards. Kelly got a #1 single out of singing the National Anthem. Maybe Beyonce should opt for the same? She has a great voice so it wouldn't be a problem for her to sing it live this time around.
