"Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)"

When you haven't touched the top 10 since 2007 you don't release a experimental song like this as your lead single. It's not precisely the worst song of the year and I get Nelly was trying to serve something different, but damn it's just so weak. I hope she doesn't give up.

"Disconnected"

Keane used to be one of my favorite bands back in 2004-2006. Their sound went through a lot of changes after that and I stopped checking for them. When I heard Disconnected it immediatly brought back a lot of memories. It's my favorite song of theirs since Crystal Ball.

Owl City
"Shooting Star"

I remember I loved this song when I first listened to it in his EP. I couldn't wait for the video. Then something "unexpected" happened and he released that crap "Good Time" instead without any explanation. I'm still pissed because he shamelessly sold out for another hit.

"The Vision Of Love"

At first I thought he was covering Mariah and I was thrilled. Instead it turned out to be a rather bland but yet so beautiful original song. I think he should've saved this song for later and release a stronger lead single.

"Skipping Stone"

One of the most underrated artists I know. As I've said before Alexz is incredibly talented. She writes, she produces, she composes and she sings like no other. Skipping Stone is a beautiful song I just wish people would give her a chance so that she could get a better deal.

"Le Miracle"

One of the best french songs I've heard in a while and Céline's best since "Taking Chances". This one has a sweet melody and simple but deep lyrics. She is going in with this era and I can't get enough of her music these days. I expect her to be placed very high next year.

Loreen
"Euphoria"

I don't usually care about Eurovision winners to be honest. Their music might be experimental but they usually lack in the vocal and lyrical departments. Loreen caught me off guard with this song. It's a perfect combination of great vocals and amazing choreography.

Breathe Carolina
"Blackout"

Second and last appearance by Breathe Carolina. I can't help but feel like this song is a major guilty pleasure since I don't usually fall for this kind of songs. I played it several times during the early months of this year and it still feels fresh, it's just so catchy.

Daughtry
"Renegade"

This is my favorite song from Daughtry's latest album and it barely made the top 100. Its release was messed up, it didn't even get a decent video and it was released while CBTY was still in rotation. I'm feeling very disappointed about this band.

Kelly Clarkson
"Catch My Breath"

Definitely Kelly's worst single to date. Not even the boring ones from her debut album and the generic ones from the AIEW era can compare. I'm still trying to make it grow on me but I really think it's gonna peak fast. The video didn't do much for me either.
