I can't believe I read through all 17 pages. I don't need to defend the article since people have done it countless times and the only people not understanding it are those with poor reading comprehension skills, so that's okay.

I'm sure it will be skewed the media, I can see the headlines now but I can see the dance community sticking up for her because what she said is true. I think we're all tired of reading comments about our favs that say "I miss REAL music" in attempt to degrade the genre as a whole when they fail to realize just how complex the production of the music is. No one likes to work hard at something only to be told it's sub-par because they don't like it.

No genre is superior to any other just because YOU prefer one to another.

How is being cocky?It's not like she said electronic music is always better than acoustic,she just said that acoustic ISN'T better than electronic and that people shouldn't under-estimate the skill and effort required to make it cause it takes a lot.And that is true.Many music snobs think electronic music can be created by a kid in their neighbourhood if they're provided with the software and that only the music made through 'real' musical instruemnts requires actual talent,which is obviously not true.Attaining the ability to produce good eletcronic music requires talent,skill,dedication,hours of practice and hardwork.You can't always judge music's quality by it's genre.She just raised her voice against the stupid stereotype and said nothing but the truth.She could have worded it better though.

There's a difference between saying;

"Acoustic music isn't better than electronic music."
...and...
"Electronic music is better than acoustic music."

She's simply challenging the notion that electronic music is automatically inferior to acoustic purely because of production. As someone who does both so well, I think she's in a valid position to make such a comment.

Gaga's type of music ranges from classical to jazz to electronic. Her "type of music" always starts out as acoustic pop and then is turned into electronic music. And honestly to Gaga and the way she can do what she does on the piano, it's no wonder she might think acoustic music is easy. It just comes naturally to someone as talented as her.

Her type of music is electronic-pop, which is what all of her albums and most of her biggest hits fall under.

She doesn't though. To get co-producing credits, all you have to do is sit with the producer and suggest to him to change a couple of notes, or choose the microphone you use, or change one of the settings or sound effects. That's all you have to do to be a co-producer.

That's what ALL except one (You and I) of her biggest hits fall under.

She's a bit of a one-trick pony tbh, but she only does almost 100% electropop songs because that's the "in" thing in the charts right now. In a few years when alternative is dominating she'll do alternative-styled songs, mark my words.
