This is a great Keane video and the best one from this list. This is a creepy and horror video that takes place at a haunted house in Barcelona where two lovers are getting the scared off of them. Beware of the outdated Cassette 70s clip of the TV shown. The Disconnection between Reality and Fiction is scared for life. The video has won an award for Best Video@ the Q Awards in London. Can the video rack up more awards in 2013? We will see.

Another creative video by Lana. Here at the beginning of the video Lana re-acts Marilyn Monroe. The rest of the video has her depicts JFK’s family. She is the wife and A$AP Rocky is Kennedy himself. Overall killer video as many things go on include Lana reading a dialogue that sounds incredible in the reenactment. the assassination. This video spent at least 10 weeks on my countdown and peaked at the top 5.

A rather depressing video that many people had said about it but it’s still a great one anyway. Here The boy learned that his father pass away in battle in the War. Now him and his mother are in sorrow about the loss while SEAL teammates and their families comfort them. Eventually the boy becomes a SEAL like his father. A great mature video by these guys right here which they are in the video playing while glass shattered around them. It also features footage of the Metal of Honor: Warfighter game.

A video that helps prevents suicide from Youths. Here it shows two different young people about to commit their suicide and the story leading up to it. The young man at the beginning shots his head with a gun in the kitchen where his parents witness and read his suicide note. The story of him has him loading the bullets in his pistol and what cause this decision is the beatings by three bullies and a older man yelling at him. During this he gave his friend all of his stuff in a box which the friend hesitant to accepted. At the end the friend of the guy came back , returned the box and the guy rips up the note and puts away the gun and they join the young man’s parents at the kitchen table. The young woman shows she overdose in pills and her background is that the texts of her emotional breakdown and her reactions and what she does to herself. At the end she puts away a box and hugs her mother. A great message where all you need is a friend or someone at the end to help and comfort you. One of the videos that debut high on my countdown.

I know that they are two different versions of the video for this song , the latest is him in one of his live shows performing and going backstage while he plays the guitar sitting on the back of the truck. I decide to choose the original video even thought that was way back in 2010 but I have only discovered Ed in 2012 and I never heard of him in 2010 at all and since I was not into music or anything in 2011 but I don’t I would listen to him in that year either. The video here is about a crackhead ***** and her struggle of living and addicted to crack. This video is surreal with there are people out over the world who are crack heads & the video did a good job showing this particular crackhead. It also shows what the song is about and bringing it to live. Well done. A+.

This video does fit with the songs and because of that the music is the perfect mood for this style of art direction & motions surrounding it. The video shows the male band members as sky-sailors as they roam across a distant land with a mystical woman. Throughout the journey they encounter ghoulish creatures found in kids of the old age’s nightmares. They even fell into underwater after the crack of the frozen snow broke. At the end the mystical woman reunited with a mystical beast. Seeing the crow saying HEY! Is good to see in this haunting video with an Edgar Allan Poe Sketch draw line I believe or something of that sort.

This is a controversial video because of the racism and racial images especially the voodoo man having a blackface & thinking that Florence is part of the oh so infamous illuminati. Well I can to that in a moment. The video shows Florence lying next to the Crystal Skull and we see the contortionist ,someone who has practice unusual freak of nature flexibility, aka the voodoo man doing his ritual dance and we see Florence in the NY Skyline. He then grabs the voodoo and put the needle through it and Florence falls from the building and to the Trinity Boys Choir which they sing the song and caught her. Also in parts of the video the voodoo man chases Florence. A great video using some good effect and art direction. The song itself is good , which is lyrically about her frustration towards a falling relationship and being in that state of mind, and has a good build-up to the video with its melodrama drumming. This video here shows the light vs darkness struggle and see the contrast of it. The good vs. evil where the Choir is seeing the light of God while the Blackface voodoo man is practicing dark magic. It’s an occult being displayed from him and the Christian Religion . It’s exploring Christianity and voodoo spiritual. I can see the controversial subject about it giving ideas of conservative and racist ideas involving races and religion with Christians and Catholics. I can say that it can be taken the wrong way to think they are demonize religion and blacks but it’s not but don’t blame for thinking that it’s a blatant white vs. black thing here. I mixed about the Blackface good for the display of dark art but bad for African-Americans and others who feel offended especially those that face blackface in TV etc. doing bad times in the past.

A great moral video to show Lupe’s stance on misogyny in hip hop culture & in mainstream music with the word Bitch and the Psychological concept around it. In Act 1 or in verse 1, the boy is in the car with her mother singing a Bad Bitch song and the boy sees it and gets the wrong idea of thinking that is all mothers
are. Act 2 shows three girls looking at the internet singing along to a mainstream song by a Bad Bitch singer who one of the girl idolizes and dancing to her music and acting like her while we see how generically most mainstream rap videos go with the rapper waving off his car, cash and his hoe. The joke rapper and hoe is a form of Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj which the same girl sees at a Theater. Act III here shows the boy and the girl meeting as older people. All in the while a grown male and female at a separate dressing room seeing flashbacks of the images seen in the video and they wipe the black paint off of their face. MDMA appears at the end to sing his lines. The video is dedicated to Paul Robeson and the many black actors who had to deal with Blackface in America. I’m guessing that Lupe put that there to show that Blackfaces are offensive to African-Americans and sexism is demeaning to Women especially how the Media portrays it and the imagery of it. Just realized that I place this next to Florence + The Machine’s video. I’m so evil. Did I do that on purpose or I was just ranking and not relating between videos. sadly only spent one week on my countdown due to other videos batting to get in while this video gets on deck treatment where there is a week when I like this a lot.

Filmed in the Czech Republic, we see how protesters start a vicious riot while the heavy-armed police deal with them with violence combat and riot control. The protesters merciless fight against the police in any means in this harsh war condom of violence where police answer back with violence and use of mace etc. . A great savage and one hell of a war video between them that display the relationship of them while showing Self-Indulgence which is the theme of the song along with Religion. There is No Church In The Wild in these conditions that is. No clear winner when a conflict turns to violence even if one of the sides won a single battle, the war rages on. Spent at least two weeks on my countdown I believe.

Here in the neck of the woods & mountain side with a space sky , the bands plays in the middle of nowhere in wasteland desert and later on creepy blue color TVs and on a large vent it seems to me , we see scenes of a woman, the city street roads & lights, kids all wearing white coats outside standing in a platform looking to the fading blue sky and taking pictures of a wall next to them while we see occult magic suck to a box where a woman is holding where she wearing white gowns run to places. The Woman is placed in a circle and a Bloody Mary occurs. Great video that had a nerve ending.

Continuing from Midnight City, here the supernatural Children are being pursued by a group of Men trying to bring the, to the lab where there was a girl there in a enteric chair with wires in her head forced to controlling them and one of the children in the rooftop lost her power and guess died. They left and as the van chase them, they face off and the children use their powers to lift the van away and the strapped girl is free from the mind controlling and takes off all the wires and leaves. At the end they go a Church where they send off their powers to the light and the light is from space and top of the Earth. Observatory. This is the trouble you get for having a Reunion no one deals like this. Just another mind-f**king video that you have to watch now.

A good concept video by these guys who released a concept album in 2012 that is a part of a double album which that will be released in Feb. The band plays while two fighters get into battle in the ring. We see a bunch of anger between the two in and outside of the ring. Also we get in deep of one of the fighters’ life that later the other fighter cause trouble for him. All throughout the video we see some disasters going on and especially at the end of the video.

This is a great and interesting to take to your own perspective . Here we see the band wandering through a post-apocalyptic dark-blue sky transparent color dessert wasteland until they find a box where they open and light is inside and they use that light of ball to bury into a hole dug up using their bare hands. Then they run and boom! It exploded to the sky where the dark cloud goes away to shred new light and the band is caught in the impact. My perspective on this is to find new hope after a disaster and it’s time to take action where we can begin anew.

A 10 Minute Short-Film video where it takes for a ride that you will never forget. Lana narrates at the beginning where she expresses her feelings. Here Lana is performing at a town’s Showtime theater, while the video shows here with different men doing some sexual, sensual and non-sexual stuff. Also shows her riding a motorcycle and at one scene wrapped herself with the American Flag. The motorcycle gang and Lana start a battle. Also Lana wears an Native-American war bonnet where she sings that she has war in her mind when she sees a revolver in her temple. Video has a great run on my countdown so far and made the top 10 so far and still riding up in The Zone . She is fu*king crazy and free.

A meaningful and deep video where it mainly showcase the lead singer of the band Justin Furstenfeld, his life and his divorce turmoil including a mess of a custody battle of their little girl where she is seen in the video in clips. A surreal video that I can tell what he is feeling. Their latest album is about his journey out of the marriage using lyrical honesty and other elements to create a heartbreaking tale. Here in the video he makes a worry list and the lyrics to the songs say “take me off of your worry list, it will be better that way”. Sad to see dads that actually care about their kids that are not half of the time absent not able to get to see them cause how custody battles goes and sometimes can get dirty. Does daddy fixes everything? One of the rare videos to be #1 in my countdown in 2012.

In this slow moving video we see a woman stares to a man in bed wrapped in bandages where she gets a little closer and cuts the sternum. She looks outside to see an object flying and turns around to see the man dissolved somewhere. The woman is now in the waterfall where she walking towards to a silver figure where she sees images including one with the man form before and she looks up to see the flying object again and at the end she wakes up in bandages and the man still sleeping in the room with no bandages and unharmed. Good video where the music fit the motions.

Here in this Drive By adventure we see Pat on the phone with his ex-girlfriend and when she hangs up, Pat gets his blue 1967 Pontiac Firebird, and starts driving through San Francisco which he meets with the rest of the band in the intersection where Jimmy driving a yellow Chevrolet Camar and Scott driving a red Ford Mustang. Pat explains about his ex and the times they had. The band arrives in a Classic Car meeting where Pat leads them to the winery where he first met his girlfriend and parks in front of the place and Pat went up to her saying the last verse of the song and got back together. A great video that has a great meaning. This is about Carrie’s abusive father in the video where he is an alcoholic addict and we see some painful memories of him. A storm is brewing and Carrie hides in the basement to not get blown away. At the end new life is restored as we follow the yellow brick road. That’s a nice house. Reminds me of a simpler time. The music and the tone of the voice sets the video well. Carrie is apparently playing as a teenager in this video.

Each of these hits hard on the heart. Sadly Royce doesn’t appear , I guess he doesn’t have any emotional personal goodbyes on this own.

John did good on the vocals and how he sang it makes it feel right all night long. Luda did a good job on his rap part of the song and make the mood of the song just as right as it is already. This is one of the only things we did right in 2012 music wise. This song was on the Think like a Man Movie. Spend at least six weeks on the countdown and peaked at 11.

The seducing pleasure and the oh oh echo with the mid-tempo R&B sound is a highlight to a friendly reminder. This was the biggest smash for R&B of 2012 and has the success to back it up. It has already finally having success in Rhythmic and I’m waiting to see if it will find success for Pop.

Also your emotions can be better explain as you are a storm brewing or the bad signs are in a hurricane or some sort. And you can start a new life or home if you didn’t like your previous life. I can get really deep in this song also with the music that I feel the most. I have no idea why this never went to Pop Radio , it might or might not of smash. I think it mostly likely would have. I’m that positive. Let the storm in your mind blown away all of the distractions to move on and focus anew. This song spent 21 weeks on my countdown and is a former #1. That’s very impressive.

Here when I hear that I either think about the memories of all the songs that I think about on where is my memories on them or when I think my own personal memories. I do like the whoa -oh-oh-oh parts and think he can add a third verse as well. Here in the song Eric thinks about his memories back in his day that includes references to the Boss himself like When you hear Born In The USA, and Somewhere between that setting sun, I'm On Fire and Born To Run. Overall a great country to relive your own memories.

This song is about alcoholism. Here Lamar gets sucked in into drinking tons of alcohol that could fill up a swimming pool by his peers. As it goes along Kendrick’s conscience tries to reason with him and warned him and if he ignores it he is setting himself up to get reeled in by the effects of alcohol and get lost to. Also is interesting to note that the bridge & the beat of it ironically sounds like a drinking anthem. Lamar used to smoke and get drunk but he doesn’t anymore that I know for that is. Really people these days just want to get f**ked up and hammered on drinking instead in a moderately use. You can either makes this your drinking anthem or a deep song about alcoholism and the dangers of it and for the drinkers that choose this one I assuming you will be the one to drink smart and do it moderately. Do I drink? No , I don’t but I did drink a bottle of beer before. Not bad but you have to get used to that taste to like it more ,so ehh. See Lamar knows what he is doing to appeal two different audiences. Even though, if you don’t like his rapping, singing or what he sounds like, it’s still a great song with a great message. First listen the song sounds like anti-climatic or something similar but as time goes on and the more I listen to it, it’s a complete different experience that you will get used to and get deep into. You can connect to the way it sounds and how Jason sings and how you see it as the song plays. it’s a great acoustic folk ballad that inspires to not give up on anything and not give up easily. This helps you out but taking easy steps and being conformable until you can your own will towards it. A straight-forward message that has a great power-chorus building towards the end and good soft rock sediments. When you listen to the lyrics to the song , this is about not giving up on a relationship with a lover.. I really like how the tone of songs follows though with the way of the vocals goes to. Mraz wants I Won’t Give Up to make a difference to people’s lives. And I know it has.

Damn. What a great song this is. Everything about is just wondrous and amazing to let it enter your ears and your mind just explode out of Epic Proportions. When it starts the isolation of space kicks in before Chino goes in softly before the music kicks in and the vocals continue until the echo comes in and the mind-f**king chorus goes to the mind and let it speak and understand to enjoy. And this song makes such a grand trip to the atmosphere where you are caught in a motionless state and let the music get to you to settle the Tempest inside you . The aggression and melodic elements are there and we can shout and whisperer in all we want. I’ve been listening to this song the most during the whole End of party and I‘m actually listen to this song right now. This earn a spot in the top 50 and close to the top 20 due to listening and enjoy it so much despite only come out late in the year & outpeaked its Hard Rock ranking and been doing well on my Radio Chart for sure. Overall an astounding piece of work.

I named this song the collaboration of 2012. Both men did a good job into creating such as greats song that has me coming back for more then one day. Calvin did a wonderful job on the production, mixing and every else to unleashed such a sound where Example provides the vocals that is incredible. Overall a great dance song that you can into. It has spent 16 weeks on my countdown and got a chance to be #1 too.

Here it’s about a girl where she doesn’t respect herself that much and the guy is here to show her what to love and let him love you until she learns to love herself. Did a decent run on my countdown which spent 8 weeks but had to drop and return to do it.

The build-up and vocals are also my favorite of this song from the band. I practice my patience with this song. I won’t tell how it is going with me on that. Well no see. Spent at least 14 weeks on my countdown.
17 Take A Walk Passion Pit But off the boat they sail a while. Then scatter cross the coast. Once a year I'll see them for a week or so at most I took a walk I use this song and so do others that heard this song to take a walk. Most will go straight to Taco Bell and order Doritos Tacos. Man still disappointed that they discontinued the Nacho Burritos. You people have no idea what have you done. Well I took a walk to escape my troubles but sometimes I end up more than what I have bargain. Here the lead singer said he wrote about his parents financial problems and to get away from it they decide to take a walk. In the lyrics he talks about certain family members and the content of it is of course a business man clustered by financial problems. The song is overall great to listen to and the sounds of it is wonderful. Too bad it couldn’t spent more time on my countdown as it was pre-matured drop out due to competition and never returned. More people are finally getting hooked to it and it will continue its run in 2013.

A great song that is the better of their singles so far off of a failed attempt to create a over the top pop album but it’s doesn’t’ seem to matter since their singles are topping the charts as this song remain on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks I believe that t hear it was due to radio play and soon later the rules change on how to calculate songs charting esp. to genre charts. Also prevent Gangnam Style from claiming the top spot. Don’t know if it was a good thing or not but whatever. It’s a catchy song that I like to follow along to and question if staying one more night is even worth it depend what is your situation, How long can you stay or need to stay. Had an on/off run on my countdown peaking just outside of the top 5 in its 9 weeks run.

Amazing to see this do this well everywhere esp. In the Us when it was first released back in January. This is a major sleeper hit which seems to come quite common or close to that in the past years like Just Dance and Pumped Up Kicks were. Early it was heard it was back in 2010 which for some reason didn’t heard it back in that time but listen tot her other songs tho. It’s a different pop song than most were used to during 2012 which was great since we need a kind of song like that to bring depth and beat out all the sucktude in pop and music overall. Really love Ellie’s vocals and the pop sounds that blends all-around here. Such sweet pleasure to hear. Lights are also use to be calling home. A former #1 and spent 12 weeks in the Zone.

This is a great night song that most people make their stand for to have some nights like victory for them. To have a war that many won’t like to end in a draw. Well the whole song is just great and the vocals along with the sound of the song make it a some night. It spent over 22 weeks on my countdown and spend four non-consecutive weeks at 1.

Well overall a catchy song that has the Alt. pop drive to get it going. It did better and treated better on my request countdown than it did in The Zone. 7-9wks>5wks that it took some time to return back to the Zone after its debut.

So much to say about the success of this song is having so far and extending its run in 2013 is just amazing to witness and the song has so much to be deserved to be the major hit it is. The song has the little talks between the male and female singers in which they take turn to sing to talk it out and that makes such a chilling harmony. Shouting out HEY! Is a bonus. The overall dark tone and mature content is complex. For some reason this song never made my countdown I guess I never picked out a week where I can debut or such. But have no fear it did spent 9 weeks on my request countdown.

Overall the song is great and the instruments and the sound of it is just marvelous to hear along with vocals from Gotye & Kimbra. Both gave such powerful emotions to make this song more epic than it is and tells a complex song where all goes wrong and the end that one person is just Somebody That You Used To Know. Well I don’t have many of those since we never got started and anyone that I have met are just some people that I don’t want to know again and been doing that since July. Peaked at 4 on my countdown.

Only spent two weeks at 1 and overall stayed with the Zone for over 15 weeks.

A great song overall that it’s catchy to follow the lyrics and the rhythm of the song where we can get deep into the song and the acoustics make this song a masterpiece. It lasted 14 weeks and peaked at 4 in the Zone and had a good run in The Nation.

A short but sweet song that has incredible vocals and some good strings of the guitar that do it right. Addicted to this song where I enjoy the wonderful sound of this song. It had a funky run in the Zone where it was one of the songs that drop and return that ended up in the top 10 and spent I think 10 weeks and also did a good run in the Nation.

I can’t stop listening to this song whenever it’s on radio or on You-tube, it just an infectious song that has been doing so since 2011. It continues in 2012 where I got back to the music game and man this song was played to the max. It’s not just about the vocals but the 80s sythms sounds, dreamy pop, new wave and shoe grazing elements make the song what it is and feels good to take a trip to Midnight City. Just appreciate the sounds on what electronica music does to you with the help of the saxophone at the end.

Evidence that I did not know it was meant to be last longer it only spent 6 weeks on my countdown but hey lucky it had the request countdown to fall back which it become #1 there & others as well while it only peaked outside of the top 5 in my countdown. It was written to tell that best friends are just too close to love each other and start a relationship so they be on their way. Yeah I know that when I was younger but it was expected we were too young.

First of the song is just a great beast of a song where it’s all-around great and is on par with their previous hits. Mike’s rapping stays true and just madness to hear lay it down like that where I can understand and Chester’s vocals are killer and the rest of the band made the sounds of this song so powerful to burn this End of to the ground where it should’ve been #1 but hey this song has the passion & drive to burn it down. Really we just build things up to only to burn it down at the end. Well I’m sure burnt up and can’t I even make to the #1? The song spend 5 weeks straight at #1 in The Zone and was the first #1 ever when I made my countdown back in June which stayed there for 23 weeks second longest run at the Zone. Also did a major run on my request countdown 6 weeks straight at #1 and spent more 10 weeks to boot. I bet its #1 in somebody’s End of.

This song was everywhere and made its impact in TV & Sports promotions, commercials, packages , movie trailers such as the Perks of Being a Wallpaper and covered by Glee & on The Voice. They didn’t ruined the song and the latter made it in their own personal spin on it. Maybe been in more but I will stopped. Did well on itunes and the Billboard Charts where it went to the top 20. Also it’s the only countdown veteran to last over to 2013 where overall spent 32 weeks in the Zone and been #1 six different times. It’s lowest peak was at 12. It also took a long time to reach #1 in my request countdown and spent 20 weeks in the Nation. It was also loved in ATRL. The sounds of this song is interesting with the stomps ,clapping, instruments and the vocals and back up vocals made it a masterpiece. Seeing how it is done is also amazing to witness. The song was written to get over the lead singer’s depression and I can see that it help and I’m sure it would’ve help my depression back in 2011 as well. It was interesting to hear the lyrics like The City That Never Sleeps aka their hometown in Las Vegas and the song means a lot to me. I can take it from my perspective to see at the end you are you and only you know who you are and was has changed from you and what hasn’t and what parts of you will never changed and keep it with you as you will grow . I will always be the free-minded loner that deals with its own problems and cares for my family and never worry about anything else. Also to start from the bottom to work your way back on top of your mind.
