That's how most UK singles work. Cheryl's performing on BGT and then releasing the single 7 weeks later, and Neon Lights was released 6 months after the music video. It's just so there's time for pre-orders to build up.
This is getting great airplay already!!
The Hits Radio are spinning it ~5 times a day, and I'm currently listening to it on Capital right now
Even though all the airplay in the world is useless until they put it up for pre-order
