I have both shake it off and The Best Damn Thing in my main playlist and when one of them comes up on shuffle I literally never know which song is which until the first 5 seconds is up

I think Fly was a charity song and that's it I don't think she wants that sound to her new stuff She said she wanted to release a Christmas album so I hope we can get at least that

I don't think we have to be worried. Her album will obviously be Pop/Rock and I think she will want to do something similar to Let Go, I don't know why... She retweeted one of her old performances from that era, that means it called her attention somehow maybe? The Nick Carter collab sounded more than a Backstreet Boys than Avril's, lbr.

And it looks like she's being a bit folk-y with her instagram posts of the mountains, sunsets, the moon, etc. She's even wearing flannel shirts. And ultimately, she loves or even is collaborating with Zane Carney.

Oh wow! I never realized that till now. I hope she goes that road. I need her alternative folk album inspired by Ben Howard, The Lumineers, Jon Foreman and The Head and The Heart. One can daydream.
