Because a lot of her original fans were bandwagoners. Just as many of Adele's 'stans' are. When she releases something that doesn't automatically launch her to the top, you find out who is really here for the music and who is here for success. I sort of think Gaga actually knew that...

Yep as long as her music is good i'm still going to be a fan and even if her new music sucks I've always got her older music. That's why I don't understand why people can't still be a fan ya know? It's not like the older releases have disappeared off the face of the earth.
