That's the only difference. Platinum members got it a week early and play it as much as they want.

If you never got a code the demo is supposed to go up at 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST for North America tomorrow...but the eShop will probably not be able to handle the traffic. Sigh.

The demo is cute and it definitely convinced me to get the full game, but I don't see why people are so obsessed with getting such a limiting demo. Once you've smashed a few times you're done.
