And I hoped, that I would get the feeling like when I watch the X-Factor UK this year for the US Version too, but I just can't get into it, oh well, I hope it gets better.

Of course they should sing better. The Voice contestant aren't some amateurs, they already have had some sort of career in singing before going on TheVoice. Still none of the contestants WOW me like Idol and The XF does.

Can't wait tbh, people are only talking about ratings atm but we shouldn't worry too much tbh.

Of course we want it to do well, but still, the show is entertaining so at least we'll have something to look forward to every week, even if the ratings aren't amazing!

Glee was adjusted down two tenths of a ratings point vs the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings. The X Factor was not adjusted from the fast national ratings, however earlier we reported that X Factor had been adjusted up a tenth in time zone adjusted fast nationals. Unfortunately, those numbers still included the NFL game preemption which was stripped out in the finals.

I have met too many people like that to feel sympathy for him. He was presumptuous and was basically talking down to people because he felt he has had more experience that has made him entitled. He deserved the critiques he received IMO.

He was not pretentious at all. I don't think he was bragging, he just wanted to be nice and friendly and tried to find something in common with the guys. If someone in that segment acted douchey and cocky it wasn't him...

He was preliminarily trying to play the mentor and "giving advice" on camera to these guys, basically trying to tout himself as some seasoned vet who knows better. Sure, he may have performed on stage in front of "thousands of people" with that boy band he was in (which one was it again...?), but that is not remotely a reflection on his talent, which was extremely sub-par. He was presumptuously talking to this group of guys as if there was no chance that maybe they have had some performance experience as well. That kind of attitude irks me about musicians -- and I do work in the live music industry and see it a lot. It can bite you in the ass when you make assumptions and leave your humility at the door, which it did in his case because he really didn't have the talent to back it up.
