I admit the thread has died down a lot but in it's peak the thread was simply everything and more. It's a shame its the way it is now. Like Lukitoo mentioned earlier I remember a time when the threads were combined and nobody ever mentioned K-Pop.

The game is simple; every day or two I will name a new K-pop group and you all will vote on what their best album era is. "Era" meaning more than just the album itself; we all know K-pop is all-inclusive, so I want you guys to vote taking into account the album, the title track choice, the fashion, the performances, the hairstyles, the album packaging - as much as you can. It's more than just voting, though! I prompt you also to discuss so that the game is made more interesting.
Of course, don't allow this to stop you from your normal usage of the K-pop Discussion Thread. I simply thought I'd host the game in here because, to be quite honest, it would have flopped otherwise.

I heard she was doing 3 songs. Ai No Uta is confirmed as one of the songs but the other two songs have not been revealed yet. She's been practicing her dancing over the weekend according to her fansite blog so I'm hoping she'll perform POP DIVA + Love Me Back after Ai No Uta.

I'd be here for Pop Diva but it's probably gonna be Love Me Back + Taboo or one of her more popular dance tracks.
SM Entertainment‘s latest project, currently dubbed M1 and M2, is anticipated to follow the trend of sub-units in K-pop. M1 and M2 are being planned as a 7-member and 5-member male idol group, and a couple of the members are already being noticed for their good looks. It was previously reported that M1 and M2 will be promoting the same song in Korea and China.
Those 2 groups + Pledis Boys + YG new group + JYP new boygroup 2012 sounds promissing.
KARA released their 2nd album, “Super Girl“, on November 23rd, and, after debuting at #1, topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking by selling 275,000 in its first week!
This is KARA’s second time to top the charts, as their 3rd single, “Jet Coaster Love” reached first back in April. With this achievement, KARA has become the newest foreign female group to dominate both the single and album rankings.
The record was previously set over 30 years ago by The Nolans with their single, “I’m in the Mood for Dancing“, and the LP, “Gotta Pull Myself Together“.
Until now, the highest position that KARA claimed with their albums was 2nd place with “KARA BEST 2007-2010” and “Girl Talk“.
Additionally, the girls have set a new record for their first week sales, and has become the top selling foreign female group. Their sales have surpassed Shoujo Jidai’s “GIRL’S GENERATION” of 232,000 copies.
