I read Selena's thread to know what's up with her. Her, Demi, Avril, Kelly and Katy 
and we Demi fans wanted Demi's first 4 singles in her career to be sent for adds, how about that? huh?
Skyscraper is actually one of the best selling ballads of the year, Sit.
I'm desperate for a second single because it will make Demi's album sell, singles actually make Demi's albums sell.
but that's not for EVERY artist, no need to think about it. *sigh*

LOL let me get this straight... Y'all were about to stone me for comparing Demi to ROOKIE Rihanna/Katy/Gaga but you're comparing Selena who's barely popular all over Europe to GAGA IN HER ****ing prime?? Pause... rereads what you wrote.. rereads again.. LOL.
Lol, you choose to pay attention to some of what I write and neglect others.. I clearly stated that HWR ****ed Demi up with Here We Go Again. HWGA was released in music climate when the Kelly Clarkson sound was huge and it had the potential to become huge. The fact that she didn't get a second single was a major ****-you too. I FREAKING WROTE that like on this page or the other one.
My point is this era, it all boils down to SkYSCRAPER not being a smash hit. And if you'd take your stan-glasses off, you'd acknowledge the fact and see that the world didn't stop.
And Demi is getting a second single, so what is the problem? So your last two alinea's don't even make sense. It's being sent to radio when Selena's previous songs from AYWR didn't even get send. I swear you all want HWR to send a single from her album to radio every month.

Bolded would be really impressive, if you couldn't count on one hand how many ballads were released as singles.  How did it do in the grand scheme of things? Round and Round/AYWR all are close to 600K. And AYWR didn't even get send to radio. It sure as hell didn't have half of hollywood tweeting about it.
What in hell have I been saying: hit singles make albums sell. If the song gets send to radio and flops (and doesn't become a hit) it won't do **** for her album sales. You practically just agreed with me. Tell me, is it my avy that turns you off? Lol.

Alright, I need to bring many artists now...... Flo Rida.... Right Round sold 5 million and his album didn't even crack the 300k and not even close.
Kelly Rowland... Motivation went platinum and was huge on radio... her album? not even over 250k and not close.
Jordin Sparks.... Battlefield.... platinum and her album debuted at #8 I think with less than 50k copies sold.
Ke$ha.... Two 2xplatinum singles and Cannibal isn't EVER near gold.
Avril Lavigne... what the hell.... 1.7m sold and peaked at #11 on hot 100... album? 288k only.
LMFAO.... PRA almost 5xplatinum and their album sold 300k only...
MANY MANY artists. Hope you will understand my point and not act delusional

After Black Friday her sales in last year wasnt decreasing so much, it was almost steady, so i think it is some a promo for the albums...
and Demi's jingle balls events belong to the biggest's radios (KIIS, Z100). So this could be an another great chance to 20-25K/weeks constant sales for Unbroken.

You can't deny that HWR did a lot of things wrong for Demi. They messed up good opportunities. And yes, Skyscraper had acceptable promo, but not more than the promo that Selena always gets.
AND HWR messed it up with the promo for Unbroken. Like really. That one week promo, and then after that 10 weeks without any promotion. Sweet

I think Demi actually sells a lot of albums with single "promo". Her voice sounds interesting on the songs, and people want to check out more of her. You can hear her talent even if it's "just" a song.

You need not justify yourself. 
Its always the same. I'm not here to fight. But it annoys me that many Demi Fans say that she would get no promo. There are so maaaaany videos from Skyscraper performance on YouTube and so maaaaany Demi Interviews..... Even X factor did Promo for her. Maybe people find her sound boring and do not want buy her album or her songs. It's not always HWR fault.

Pure bull. LYLALS has been performed at like 4 shows. One of them the TCA's where she ****ed up bad and the others were less than 5 million+ viewers, whereas many of Demi's were over 10 million+.
My point is you guys need to chill. You're acting like the era is already over when it's not. GYHAB is going to be released soon so just ****in' chill. If its not sent for adds, then you can bitch & moan.
Alot of you are complaining because Selena has had two singles so far from this album go to radio. You're forgetting that Selena's first single was sent in March. The second wasn't sent till August or September (I forget). 5-6 months. It's not just Demi waiting for an adds date, Selena was too.

My point is that you can't deny that HWR messed up a LOOOOOT of things for Demi. It's not all their fault, that is sure, but basically they could have made her album sell way more. But they didn't.

Demi performed Skyscraper for 10 million viewers only ONCE, on AGT.... and Selena performed R&R there last year.
If they wanna talk about underperforming then talk about R&R.. it got sent for radio adds, it was a catchy pop song.. she performed it a several times too...
Demi performed Skyscraper on ALMA and Do Something awards.... the DS got like what... 500k viewers? yeah you should SHUT THE **** UP if you wanna talk about ratings.
we're the ones who got her to perform on the DS awards actually.
