She is suffering a big disease, it is obvious her health is the most important thing in her life and i can see why she wants to live her life. And pls let her live 😘

I totally understand this sentiment but it's just hard to stan for someone who has been missing in action for more than 2 years already

I don't have a problem with her taking some time to recover from Lyme if she needs to. I just to hope that, when she's ready to release music and (hopefully) tour again, she releases a really personal and meaningful album that tells her struggles last years with her personal/professional life and health issues. I'd rather she stayed away from pop as much as possible, but as long as the music is genuine and meaningful, I think I'll like it.

I guess i just dont wait for anything right now tbh i used to feel like the way you guys feel but getting old changed things. If she released anything i would be happy but i cant say i am thirsty for new Avril
Gorls u are talking as if writing and recording songs was some hard and exhausting job to do. Avril herself said that she is almost 100% healthy again, so I don't think some recording would be a problem for her health.
Doesn't she own a music studio @ her house as well? She doesn't even have to move or travel to studios.
By the way she can have other people write for her if she's not inspired enough (which she should be - considering she went through a disease and almost another divorce).
The problem is that she is not bothered enough with her music career anymore. She probably made enough money and after what happened last era, she is not motivated anymore, cos she probably lost more than gained + Epic Records must be a hell to work with.
