Like you say it's safer, short sighted and the inferior choice.
+ As if Right Now will sell the album anyway. But doesn't change the facts, Right Now is the one listed there. I hope ypu're right and it's wrong

And about the airplay comment, yes most early singles do get at least noticeable airplay on pop before release

It's a main factor in choosing singles. It's also a sign on other formats, which is why PIU should get released to urban pronto. Surely you agree, like.... They have basically chosen it themselves.
