Fright Night (2011)
3.5/5
REAL vampires! Finally. Stupid Twilight. I really liked this movie. I don't do horror well but I can always go for a good vampire film. Great cast too.

Wolf Creek - 5.3/10
The attributes of the film "Wolf Creek" are somewhat unusual, after all the greatest merit that can give this production written, produced and directed by Australian Greg McLean is that he can keep the tension and nervousness on a stage next to the spine-chilling and in the case of a thriller is there to satisfactory. The end turns out to be done hastily by the fact that their redemption is so trivial (nothing compared to what happened to the other victims) and leads us to believe that one of the survivors said criminally by the events by the absence of evidence, but not enough to affect the outcome of production that strangely meets unfulfilled promises and what is cruel and shocking sequences, such as one in which Mick Taylor shows us how to create a head on a stick.

An American Haunting - 4.4/10
It was good to spend time and take a few scares, but the ending is too predictable... It seems they wanted to give a rational explanation of the events but were kind of on the fence, almost as if they hadn't explained right (not in order to leave doubt in the air, but in the explanation poorly performed). Perhaps it would have been better if they had chosen to leave between the haunt be really a curse, or let the phenomena being the reflection of the trauma of the girl explained naturally. The mixture of these two options, in my opinion, left the rather weak script.

Patrik, Age 1.5 - 8.5/10
The first Swedish movie I watched. It's a gay movie and much better than most American ones in my opinion.

Red Riding Hood 7/10
The idea was there, but never used. Boring and predictable. Blame Twilight for the failed love triangle. The cast was cute though.
Source Code 9.5/10
Really good movie. It's missing something, a really minor thing, but I really liked it.

Final Destination 5
6.5/10
-Credits at the beginning were too long It was better than the previous movie and better death scenes, but it didn't really bring anything new to the franchise which made the movie predictable.

Super 8 - 7.4
The movie is good, if we compare with the bombs that are coming to the cinema lately, but the problem is that Super 8 was meant to be an homage to Spielberg, and it seems that only served for that. A blend of all scenes of the biggest hits of the magician of the cinema, and this, unfortunately, only served to remind us of all the amazing things that the filmmaker presented over the years, however by the end of the projection, I got the feeling that what I had just seen was good, but it had a lack of ET's quality. Actually what I liked most was to see the return of a science fiction movie starring children, because ultimately it was restricted only to fantasy. Well, but the similarities stop there. In the end, it was worthy for the memories, not a film that will be in people's minds for a long time, unlike the stories that Spielberg could tell us so well in the past.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
Director Troy Nixey does an outstanding job with this film, tightening the suspense at every opportunity. The film is beautifully shot, as it should be considering this is a Haunted House sort of flick. Guillermo del Tero, who co-wrote the screenplay and produced it, guides the film. The man is pretty much a genius! Bailee Madison the lead actress playing Sally is terrific. Katie Holmes plays Kim, and does a very convincing job as a woman on a journey trying to connect with Sally. People may judge Holmes acting ability, but she gives a solid performance. In conclusion, Don’t be Afraid of the Dark is a beautiful, stunning-looking film, which is a lot of fun and entertaining with great moments. Really spooky! 3.5/5

Never Let Me Go - 7.0/10
Great movie, beautiful, of an amazing subtlety, and with two of the best actors from the new generation, Andrew Garfield and the ever-wonderful Carey Mulligan. If the outcome is hardly surprising, at least it’s entirely appropriate to the melancholy tone of the work, which also includes photography and soundtrack efficient. A sensitive movie, human, and that makes you think that deserves to be seen. It’s morbid, sad, it is “shocking”. It addresses an unusual theme and the way how human beings deal with themselves and think only about their own benefit, regardless of what caused the other, which already has scheduled destination. The actors are excellent, the film as a whole is very good, despite leaving a taste of something missing there..

One Day
5/10
I was looking forward to seeing this movie after reading the plot synopsis. I have not read the novel that this was based upon so I have no idea what will happen. Though I love both Hathaway and Sturgess, something was lacking in the movie. The characters were hard to relate to despite having decent acting in this film. It's probably the way their characters were written. It's still a decent romantic movie.

Carrie - 7.6
A horror melodrama that mixes the Gothic and supernatural films of the mid-teens 70 years, adapted from one of the most interesting books from Stephen King. The film focuses not only on terror in which Carrie, after a collapse takes revenge on all her colleague that have nailed a nasty piece, but in the hostility and evil in this world of teenagers and faith unhealthy and hostile toward her mother who smothers where the viewer has contact with the mentality of the city closed on the first scene where Carrie is nearly abolished after being shocked by their first menstruation. All this oppression and suffering difficulty that Carrie takes the form of telekinetic powers in a remarkable scene at the prom, where the girl’s fantasies turn into an uncontrolled mass murder. Sissy Spacek is perfect and worthy of her Oscar nomination for her performance. She perfectly knew how to use the face and body and twists it in order to create a special effect to live unbearable expressions of her experiences, as well as the change of a little girl to a shy and repressed queen deadly. Piper Laurie also works wonderfully as a mother frantically religious, obsessed and poor. Besides the whole movie being good, me, as many others, identified with the tension that the character suffers every day in school with nasty colleagues. I almost always cry and get emotional when choosing the prom queen, and I defend and celebrate Carrie’s revenge.
