Lol at Madeon being better than Zedd. His music is good but his melodies aren't half as strong as Zedd's, and the progression in his songs is weak. Technicolor and Icarus are great, but he has a lot of duds.

Hopefully what he gave Gaga is more on the level of Technicolor though. That's if his tracks make the cut.
Things is though, Gaga has a lot more experience than Madeon. She's probably written the melodies, and will have helped Madeon around that learning curve.
Nothing that's he's done so far will truly resemble what's actually on ARTPOP.
He is a very good producer, I just think too much power was giving to Gaga over the whole album... I think most of the songs were overproduced... like.... You can clearly tell they kept going back to the studio and adding more **** on top of more **** on top of even more ****.

And SERIOUSLY @ the overproducing comment. The weird, disco-esque synths in the "Bad Kids" chorus are evidence enough of that. I pray they don't do it with 'ARTPOP'.
You have a habit for liking the worst songs from producers. First Porter, now Zedd.
Madeon's sound is much better than Zedd; there's more of a dance-able smash sound to it. Zedd's songs usually all sound like crunchy messes except for "Clarity", which is still boring.

If Gaga wanted an album to be 100% her sound, she wouldn't hire producers; she would just do it on her own. She hires other producers for a reason because they can add things that she can't. Of course they'll add some of their own sound to it; if they weren't meant to, they wouldn't be working on the album.

I'm sorry if I came off bitchy there. I just prefer Porter's heavier stuff ("The Seconds" & "Spitfire") while I find stuff similar to "Language" rather boring. Zedd... I don't like very much altogether.
You guys shouldn't judge the producer before you even hear that they do with the artist. Any one of the producers can do the exact opposite of what they usually produce. You never know
Why do we have to do Zedd vs Madeon vs DJWS when they're all working with Gaga. Shouldn't we just wish that all of them did great on the album instead of tearing their talent apart ?
Honestly, this is what I care the most about. We can be thankful that so far there haven't been any signs of possible disagreements or uncomfortable moments in the studio.
I really liked it when Zedd proved to us he was no "yes man" and would tell Gaga whatever he thought was necessary so the music would live to its full potential.

I think we should decide once the song is released cause we never really know if the song has potential to have longevity or not. If not, then contemplating whether Gaga should push the album up or not makes more sense

I just feel like she's getting too happy and releasing everything/spilling all the tea too fast (Born This Way 2.0). We'll have the album cover and most likely tracklist on top of the lead single and video all on 1 day. What after that? The single will obviously have success but what happens next? Do we wait until Nov. and nothing more but promo pictures and have her describe every song before it's heard on interviews? See what I'm talking about?

Although, I prefer it stays at the same release date. It's beyond amazing that it's release is on my birthday.

She got too excited and released the single name, single artwork. A few lyrics and decribed the app and even pushed the pre-order dates up a few weeks early
