Excuse you...it seems you need a little lesson:
At 34, almost 35, Federer is still in the top 5. Regularly reaching slam finals/SFs. Regularly beating the World No. 1. Now, of course, Federer is the most talented person to have ever touched a tennis racquet, but a 34 year old with a broken body should NOT be ranked in the top 5. While I'm happy he is, this is symptomatic of an extremely weak era.
Nadal's last 4 grand slam results: R2-R1-R3-R2. And he's still ranked top 5? How?
Murray in a RG final? How?
Raonic, Dimitrov, Thiem, etc. considered young players even though they haven't accomplished much at an even older age (although I do like Thiem).
And Djokovic still No. 1? How? Talentless player taking advantage of a weak era.

Unlike Nole, Serena was winning slams even when the competition at the top was stiffer. Novak wasn't beating Nadal and Federer in their prime.

Point taken, but Serena never dominated to this extent, for this long. So she is a beneficiary of playing in a weak era. If Henin, Clijsters, Capriati, Hingis, etc. were still playing she never would've racked up this many slams post-2008/Henin's retirement or so.
