I think RCA's goal for Stronger was for it to go platinum and it already has been certified, so mission accomplished!
Sometimes greatest hits give previous albums a boost. It's only 71k away from a million. With a GH and holiday sales Stronger will see a nice increase and be closer to selling a million by the end of the year.
I'm in love with the GH idea because she has plenty of hits to make a legitimate CD without having to reach like some others, it will keep her name out there longer than the Stronger era would have, it will help the sales of her previous albums and we can use the hits from her 6th album for the 2nd GH album years down the road
but I want Kelly to promote a bit when she is in Aus... I mean, we have xfactor live shows....
I don't think she's doing any morning show tho, otherwise they would be promoting it like they are with P!nk, btw P!nk and Kelly's stay in Aus is very close together... infact they are both here early october..!

Maybe she is going to announce the single while in AUS.. makes sense to promote WW while you're touring since she won't get over there too often otherwise.
If the GH album would be released, I'd wonder how much can she sell in the first week? Stronger is currently her all time low opening with 160k copies. Will she get another record for another low opening with the slated release of a GH album?

Totally disagree. J-Lo had maybe a handful of actual hits. Kelly has many, many more recognizable songs and is one of the most played recurrent artists of her generation. She has the audience and hits to back up this kind of release. And I think it will sell fairly well if there's proper promotion

Both JLo AND P!nk had a little bit of a reach with a lot of the songs they put on their GH album. Kelly, on the other hand, has just enough hits for a solid tracklist. She doesn't have to include flop songs that she is fond of like the other two. And this isn't meant shade, I love both ladies, it's just how it is.
