Mine was a used but VG+ copy of Madonna's True Blue album, which was given to me in 2010 by one of my mother's friends. Totally a novelty in my collection back then as I didn't start collecting seriously till years later.

I think mine was wither Say Say Say by MJ/Paul or Purple Rain by Prince. Or it might have been Mariah's Make It Happen or Janet's Miss You Much. I bought those 4 in the same week

Literally this is why I do it. It's not like they can't afford to send a little discount our way lol. I legit do this for all the vinyls and expensive things I buy (usually TV/movie box sets) and say that they left my package out in the rain or that a corner is broken etc lol.

The best I ever did was when I ordered 4 copies of Bryan Adams: Live At Sydney Opera House (2 of the Blu-Ray and 2 of the deluxe DVD/cd one to play and one to collect), but I didn't know that movies from the UK aren't always sealed so I was pissed so I complained and said that 1 of each of them was sent without the discs. So I got a replacement for them and a partial refund for my troubles.

I was joking, but I get the frustration with it. Hot Topic has bent the sleeves on about 80% of the vinyl I've received from them. I've yet to have a bad experience with Amazon though, but there's a distro center 15 minutes from my house so maybe that explains it.

Are you a student? Amazon Prime is worth it if you can get it.

At least you've secured something limited, compared to BEP and ANTI's releases being fairly common and released widely.
