Well I read on Panama's official website that pre-production was from October through November, filming was supposed to be December- early February (In Panama), and then it's set to debut at Cannes. But filming is behind one month, which is probably why they started filming The Voice late last year, so Usher could start filming early this year. Post production takes what three months? Which means we will probably get clips and trailers around May-July.
So if he isn't on Twitter often, then it probably means he's in Panama. He looks gooood in that picture, those biceps
I love how he could care less about his album sales, he even said so himself when he released Here I Stand that he didn't feel pressured to outsell Confessions, just as long as the quality is good. There's no need for him to prove himself either because he's accomplished a lot. Sure he isn't as popular as he used to be, but I think that's what he intended to do, since he's a lot older now and has two boys to raise.

Usher is so sweet, the article says how he thanked the President of Panama, and that he couldn't wait to go visit there.
Also I discovered that his movie is going to film in March and will be finished by June, however I don't know if it will still premiere at Cannes.
