I'd agree. She's keeping herself relevant, whether you think brilliantly or otherwise. She took huge risks with the singles, and is successful both commercially and artistically. She also scored her longest #1 during this era and is now nominated for an Emmy award. For all the fans some think she may have lost/isolated, she gained a whole lot.

I agree those things made headlines, but for the wrong reasons. There's a smart and a stupid way to pull headline-making stunts.
