Well I agree to some extent.There are certain things that post 90's Mariah have done that cant be matched by even 90's Mariah. As far as vocals and performance ability goes, MC was the ABSOLUTE Shytt in the 90's,but you have to admit that "Mimi"( 98- present) had become a more creative artist.
Mariah was a super belter back in the day,her melismas were unmatched. Even till this day It's like her melismas , vocal runs and vocal arrangements have become progressively harder. it's getting to the point where even SHE can't duplicate it live on a consistent basis.(
