Love Don't Live Here Anymore
- Who has a problem with this bop? It's great, and it was amazing that she hauled it out of history and onto the Rebel Heart tour stage. Though bitch didn't sing it at my show.
 Shoo-Bee-Doo
Shoo-Bee-Doo
Awful.
Jimmy Jimmy:
Awful, but obviously a troll-track, so not to be taken seriously. Let the woman live.
Love Makes the World Go Round:
Annoying but cute.
Dear Jessie:
Bad.
Rain:
Dull.
Did You Do It?:
Obviously a complete catastrophe but it's supposed to be like an interlude, right? Not a legit song. It just makes me think of LLM and how I want to top him one day tbh.
Don't Stop :
Can't even remember this track and CBF listening to it again.
Take a Bow:
A very average song, hardly offensive, just one of her blander ballads.
Incredible:
I for a long time was on the "Incredible" hate boat, in fact I forgot it existed cause I once accidentally deleted it and then forgot to re-upload it to my iTunes. But now it's become a perfectly good playable part of my regular Hard Grammy listening parties. It has a great breakdown, and is a cute little bop. Ya'll do the MOST.
Spanish Lesson:
Literally one of her great songs, surely top 50 I'd have thought. Dunno what everyone's problem with it is but it has fun tongue-in-cheek lyrics, had a great tour performance, and it's just a good dance track. Loosen your holes and enjoy it people.
Superstar:
Obviously a low point on MDNslAy but not bad. I occasionally don't skip it, not that I ever really play through MDNA in its entirety - it's too randomly put together.
B-day Song:
Low key love it. I just think about the interview with Madonna talking to M.I.A. about the song and explaining "I know it's not cool to be happy, but it's cool to be uncool" and that's how she conned her into sounding happy and celebratory on the track. I think that's a great piece of advice. It's just a little bit of fun, you don't have to sit there and compare it to every song in her catalogue. Madonna just wanted to have a little bit of fun and it's cute. So enjoy it and stop complaining.
