I think I'm going to listen to a few of the influencers for Tymphonic records later because now I'm thinking of something in that realm.

Idk I just really really want to do a folk/alternative style song.

I've been wanting to do a song this style for the entire competition but it just hasn't worked out.
I wonder if trying Tymps' label's style could be the push I need to go in the direction that I love.

(If I were to be a singer/songwriter I'd want to do stuff in this style)

But first I need to listen to Alabama Shakes/Alt-J/others to see if this would even work for that artist because I don't think I've heard any of their albums yet

That's the main reason why I don't wanna take a massive risk in an area that won't necessarily benefit me at all. Getting told I can't write a rap song will not really benefit my general songwriting abilities at all. But at the same time I just wanna go all out and drop all of these crazy one liners.
