Just got back from work.
This challenge is
such a great idea!
Kinda torn between two labels though. I said that I wanted to write a rap song and Bloomers' label sounds perfect for that, but I'm not sure if I could actually do well enough to make the label, especially with a male rapper (I much prefer female rap and the sassiness that can come from that, which obviously wouldn't work with a male artist...)
Then again, Matty's label sounds EXACTLY like the type of label that I'd want to be working with in real life, writing pop music smashes for artists like
Ariana Grande Cat Venti with super-producers like Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Plus I haven't written a radio friendly upbeat bop this round ("My Paradise" is probably the closest to that), which is strange as that's what I was known for last season.
Ugh, I'm conflicted. Do I take a risk and write a (possibly terrible) rap song? Or do I go back to my roots and write a pop radio smash?
