Anyway her self titled was released in 2013, which means it's basically 3 years since that.  There is still no sign of a new music. I still think in some parallel universe she could smash...I mean she is still young and has social media following. But that requires trying. |
Even Tori Kelly has performed at Major Award shows than Avril has in her entire career  I ain't mad. She's a terrible performer. No charisma, no stage presence, her vocals have gotten worse, so I'm asleep.
She never learns. The Gap between GL and TBDT made her career go downhill. She's so uninteresting and unaware of the music scene. AL6 is gonna BOMB HARD. I'm ready for the ATRL Drags. She'll be on Xtina Level when her next efforts tanks harder than Potus.

That's true tho, I remember that RnR first performance at some festival. She sang it while standing at one place. Also the What the Hell performance at that talent show in France.
Didn't AL5 tank harder than Lotus already tho?

Why would she tho? Grammys are (or used to be) the biggest achievement an artist could get. It would explain why she never got nominated anymore or submitted for it, though.

The MOST energetic performance of hers are she's walking on the stage with a mike in the hand thats it and she said in an interview she wants a career like Madonna
She can be a good dancer and an excellent singer, if she tried.

This bitch needs to find a niche and stick to it. The whole I-grab-a-bunch-of-random-pop-poprock-emoballad-songs-together-and-call-it-an-album will never work. Either she goes pure colorful pop like Teenage Dream/1989 or serious deep emo pop rock like UMS or Give me what u like. And her image should go accordingly. I'm so tired of her being Girlfriend/Hello Kitty-ish in one day then switch to Give Me What You Like the other.

What are you talking about major awards? She performed at Grammy/Brit/Juno/Ama/VMa/Ema/BMA/WMA at least once  . Now she becomes irrelevant and is stuck wit a bratty image. Shows like Grammy won't want an artist like that

I wanted to also note that she followed Zane's sister Paris Carney. She's an amazing indie artist (you guys needs to check out her stuff)
Probable writers/producers: Avril herself obviously, Chad K, Travis Clarck, Zane Carney, Paris Carney (?), Nick Carter (?) [Fans were also speculating Harry Styles & a bunch of other musicians she followed on Twitter but I doubt that she really worked with such musicians.] I have a feeling she will also work with Meghan Trainor, since they're label mates and they follow each other, and the latter is a quick hit songwriter that had a string of hits since her debut in 2014.
