She's always paid dust to them like the Grammys paid Dust to the Best Selling Single of the Year 2007 and the Best Selling Album 2007 and the 3rd Best Selling Album of 2004 and many quality singles like When you're Gone and My Happy Ending and Keep Holding On and Alice. I've 00 respect for the Shammys. Look at them nominating Hearbest Song of Kelly while they ignored Alice and WYWH and many other vocally great songs of Avril.

I wonder if Avril ever submitted their work to them? I've never seen her material in the Shammy's submission thread.

I don't think that's the reason. Avril's team just sucks and can't book her any major awards performance (no, I don't count MMVAs as major)....The best they could do was to get her to present at BMAs


Anyway her self titled was released in 2013, which means it's basically 3 years since that. There is still no sign of a new music. I still think in some parallel universe she could smash...I mean she is still young and has social media following. But that requires trying.
