I hardly see any fillers in BTW. And I really, really think, they have released the wrong singles starting at Judas. If they wanted to go risky they still had a different route to go. And I think audiences would have been receptive. (not like the album was a flop!)

You can't simply say that without the Amazon deal, it would have sold 440K less. Yes, it would have sold less, but it's not like people were forced to buy it. If someone could choose between 14 bucks and 1 buck, which one would you buy?

It's impossible to tell how many people would have still bought it at the regular price.

I know that's not the case. But in reality, like you said, you never know exactly how many she would have sold, nor how many wouldn't have bought the album either way. Regardless, it looks bad for Gaga, while Amazon takes none of the blame even though it was their incentive. They wanted to promote their cloud service, but at a severe cost.
