Jessica did win a GG, but only for supporting in Season 1. It's the show's first Globe win since then.

That's actually kinda sad. Jessica Lange has been great since day 1. And Gaga is just ok imo.

Lol like I'm not bitter about it but you know... come on now. Are we really comparing the acting presence of Jessica Lange to Lady Gaga rn... Like you'd be making a much better argument if you switched from that tactic. Like she had more hype, or they wanted more press out of it, or she exceeded expectations and paired with the hype it carried here there, she was actually decent and they submitted her strongest episode and the best directed.. don't do yourself the disservice of comparing it to JL..

But still it's amusing at least how they wrangled this one. I mean did the committee just not watch Fargo or Felicity's efforts because they're wildly being held up as the best of this television season, and for good reason....

On the other hand we spend at least 20 pages each horror story episode debating whether she 'was good this episode' or not lol.

Gaga's acting was good. She served Windows XP computer delivery in some of the "with those eyes you can be the king of whatever you want" type of lines, when she learned that her lover died and she went through the hallway looking like she just had Chipotle and whenever she was in the background smiling at literally nothing, but she had good moments too. Last episode's was pretty good, for example. I don't think we can call her the best actress of the show, because she's not, but for a first major role in a TV show, she was awesome and didn't disappoint. Instead, she surprised a lot of us.

And all the bitterness needs to stop. Gaga did good in the minds of the oscar committee and of course she was given the Oscar, and that´s all that matters. If she have lost that category, it´s okay at least she had a chance and she could prove her acting again next year, if she ever be nominated again.



This is why I gave up on humanity, can´t we just co-exist (even thought I hate the LGBT community no offence) and be happy.

It is a shame, Jessica hasn't won. But I'm still very happy for Gaga. She definitely didn't deserve to win over Kirsten, but it is what it is.
