Birthday won't be it. They were testing Undercover and B.E.A.T on some pop stations. Undercover could still be the single since it has 1+mil views on her VEVO. HWR is a bad label, so who knows?

I wish Selena wasn't taking a break. If DEMI is planned to have 4 singles then obviously, Stars Dance would've 4 singles too.

I wonder what would happen if HWR decided to discount SD at this point. It seems to be stable in the bottom half of the top 100, I feel it would boost the singles sales quite a bit.

We can't just blame HWR. I feel like Selena boycotts her own music career because she doesn't see a long future in that, as she already stated before, and she is afraid it gets big and get on the way of her acting career. Remember LYLAS gave her a great momentum and what she does next? Announces a break. Now she had the chance of expanding her fanbase promoting in places where she doesn't have a big fanbase like Asia and Australia and she just cancels it. I get she needs a break but it was not a longstanding tour, it was only 8 days in Australia and I think around 10 days in Asia? Why not just postpone? I'm sorry, I love this girl but she gets on my nerves sometimes, and sometimes I feel it is pointless rooting for her music.

You're right that she's insecure when it comes to her singing career, she much, much, MUCH more comfortable with her acting.

Undercover is fun and kinda addictive and has chances to be a moderate hit without any performance but I think if radio embrace Stars Dance it has the biggest chance but it would need at least a great video as initial push and I don't know if they are willing to do that. Guess Undercover is the less expensive and less risky option

I just think, she doesn't see a future for herself in music because the bad album reviews and sales. She wants a place but doesn't know how to get it.
The best thing she can do is take a break and get inspired again to make music. Selena needs one of those Bey/Ke$ha "I found myself by traveling the world" kind of breaks. Then, come back and slay the music scene. However, it would be nice if she could do an acclaimed movie so, she can solidify her spot in Hollywood. She needs to get either her music or acting stable and it's not working for her to force both at the same time.

I feel the exact same way as you. Cancelling the rest of the tour (which wasn't even many dates) was honestly a dumb decision.
