Its doing great, Its still has 35 countries to be released in + DVD/Blu-Ray sales and dvd rentals. I mean Showgirls got over 100 million from Rentals ALONE. The theater was completely full today too

In the US, the movie flopped. It did not recoup its production budget.

Wordlwide it now has recouped its production budget but still has not made a profit at the box office.

Burlesque of course did not flop! Plus it has a successfull soundtrack.

But if we look at the movie's gross it certainly is not a hit right now. Based on budget and gross they lost money it.


Again, I like Christina Aguilea, I love Cher. Always have. But why not keep a realistic view?!

It is indeed Christina Aguilera's movie. Even Cher herself said that several times. And it's not seen as Cher's movie, but it's seen as a musical-comedy from two singing superstars. It doesn't matter what a girl in your film class say, because she doesn't speak for the public.

I don't know what your problems with Christina are, but she has deserved everything that she has accomplished in her life. Stop being so pressed and get a life. Seriously.
